Location, Location, Location
The Lincoln is located just south of the Lincoln Square marquee at Lawrence and Lincoln Avenues in the heart of Lincoln Square. The Lincoln is adjacent and to the south of Giddings Plaza. This plaza is a public meeting place and is home to the Giddings Fountain and the Lombard Lamp (donated to the neighborhood by the city of Hamburg, Germany). To the east, West Giddings Street (a residential thoroughfare) dead-ends into Giddings Plaza. Giddings Plaza is bordered by North Lincoln Avenue to the west. North Lincoln Avenue is a one-way thoroughfare (running south) to its intersection with West Leland Avenue where it becomes a two-way thoroughfare.
